Anthony Delgado, an 18-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Sunday, Aug. 12, in the 14400 block of Dinard Avenue in Norwalk, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
According to a Sheriff?s Department news release, Delgado was standing outside when a truck drove up. Investigators believe that two Latinos then exited the vehicle and shot Delgado multiple times before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
Delgado was taken to the hospital by friends and was pronounced dead.
The shooting is believed to be gang-related.
